An article in the San Diego Times discusses the potential for building a new stadium in Omaha in which the College World Series would be played. It seems like the current configuration, though not having the luxury boxes, fits the college game very well. The city is contemplating renovations to Rosenblatt or the construction of a new stadium in downtown Omaha. Before either project would go forward, the city would like to get a commitment from the NCAA that the College World Series would stay in Nebraska's largest city until 2020.
